Game Hub — Launcher & HUD respects your privacy. This app is designed to provide gaming utilities such as game launching, FPS/RAM/Ping HUD overlay, brightness control, and gaming tips without collecting personal information.

Game Hub — Launcher & HUD does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
Specifically:
No account or sign-in is required.
No personal data is collected.
No analytics or crash-reporting SDK is used.
No advertising SDK is integrated.
No location data is collected.
No user behaviour tracking is performed.
All app functions operate locally on your device.
2. Permissions Used and Why
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
Used to display the FPS/RAM/Ping HUD overlay over games.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
Required to keep the HUD overlay running while gaming.
INTERNET
Used only to check network latency (ping) by sending a simple reachability request to a public DNS server (8.8.8.8). No personal information is transmitted.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required on Android 13 and above to show the foreground service notification while the HUD is active.
ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY
Used to change the device ringer mode (Sound/Vibrate/Silent) from within the app settings.
WRITE_SETTINGS
Used to adjust screen brightness directly from the app.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
Used only to detect and display installed games on your device inside the launcher section. App information is processed locally and is never shared.
3. Data Storage
App preferences such as:
HUD position
HUD opacity
HUD text size
Brightness settings
are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences.
This data never leaves your device and is removed when the app is uninstalled.
4. Third-Party Services
Game Hub — Launcher & HUD does not use:
Third-party analytics services
Advertising networks
Social login providers
Cloud storage services
The only external network activity is a basic ping request used for latency measurement.
5. Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
